Another good thing about Direct sales is that you make money faster. But to make money faster you have to spend more. This is because the products are more expensive, In other words it costs more to get started.

The pay plan on a Direct sales is almost the same. You get money on you personal sales, and on enrollees sales and on the people that your enrollees enroll. Like I said, there are different pay plans and different structures of how the down line goes and the percentages of each specific company.

Same principle applies as in MLM - to make money in this industry you have to stay long enough and you have to train yourself.

To summarize, yes to start a home based business you have to pay money, either by buying the product that the company is marketing, or by buying the rights to sell the company's product.
